Our preparation process is in accordance with the Diocese of Fort Worth’s guidelines on the Quince Años Celebration. https://fwdioc.org/quinceanera-guidelines
The Quince Años celebration is a renewal of baptismal promises and a moment of giving thanks to God for the gift of life, family, and community.
Our preparation is offered twice a year and is best understood as a time of evangelization for the whole family to form and/or renew friendships between parents and youth, to experience a deeper participation in the life of the community.
Preparation must occur a year prior to the Quince Años Celebration.
All Quince Años celebrations are done at the Saturday evening Mass at 5:30PM.
Preparation Fee: $200 (includes preparation material, retreat, and Mass reservation).
Parents must be involved in every aspect of preparation.
A special Mass time outside the given Saturday 5:30 Mass will incur an additional fee of $200, which will need to be coordinated with Kevin Keil, Director of Music.
Must be baptized.
Participant/Family must be registered members of the parish or ask permission from the Pastor to prepare at another parish.
Must be registered in the parish faith formation program presently and the year prior to their Quince Años celebration.
Contact Elvira Garza and set-up an interview.
Set-up a follow-up meeting with Elvira to discuss the retreat and plan for the Mass/rehearsal.
