Under the guidance of Bishop Olson, the following updates apply to St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Parish started Saturday, May 23rd. We will continue to livestream all daily Masses and Sunday at 10:45. Please watch for additional communication as this situation continues to evolve.
Confessions is available on Saturdays 4pm. There will be one person in the confessional(sacristy), one person in the Chapel, and 2-3 people in the hall outside the Chapel. Everyone else should remain outside until their turn. Physical distancing outside the church will need to be maintained. There will be an Usher to assist with maintaining physical distancing and to guide the line. In order to try and maintain safety for all, anyone entering the church building must wear a mask to cover their nose and mouth and it must stay on until they exit the building.
The public celebration of Mass with a congregation and distribution of Holy Communion is available in accordance with the Tarrant County guidelines. All weekend Masses will resume the regular schedule, 10:45 will continue to be live-streamed as well as offered in person.
Per the Bishop’s dispensation, we encourage the elderly and those most vulnerable to the effects of Covid-19 or anyone who is ill to stay at home and continue to participate by watching Mass through our live-stream on our webpage.
At this time we will not be distributing Holy Communion outside in the parking lot.
Ushers will be in attendance to ensure that there is proper spacing between each family in attendance, and to assist with arrival and dismissal from the Mass.
Cleaning and sanitizing will be completed between each Mass. Helpers are needed to assist with this process. Please remain at your seat after Mass and an usher will bring supplies and guide you to where you will be cleaning.
The nursery will not be open at this point.
Until further notice the church offices and all ministries and services are on hold.
