Bishop Olson has put out a new statement for all the faithful of the Church. The following updates will guide how we worship, serve and care for our parish family at St. Vincent de Paul starting Saturday, June 27th.
The document Open Wide Our Hearts: The Enduring Call to Love - A Pastoral Letter Against Racism was developed by the Committee on Cultural Diversity in the Church of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB). It was approved by the full body of bishops as a formal statement of the USCCB at its November 2018 General Meeting.
Please see the Bishop's most recent Pastoral Letter here. Communion will no longer be distributed outside. We will continue to wear masks at mass and maintain social distancing. All are dispensed from attending. We will continue to use streaming. No parish activities will resume at this time.
In a continued effort to strengthen the safety posture at our parishes and schools, the Diocese of Fort Worth, in partnership with Sabbath Shield Security Consultants, is ready to implement the next phase of the multi-staged safety and protection plan for developing a safer local Church.
