Children's Sacramental Preparation

Children are prepared for their first reception of the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Holy Communion during the year while attending their regular faith formation classes. The Sacramental Program is open to any Catholic baptized 2nd, 3rd or 4th grader who participated in a faith formation program the prior year.

The program is based on the Our Sunday Visitor Program titled "Encounter with Christ, Reconcilation" and "Encounter with Christ, Eucharist".  A parent or guardian will attend class weekly with their child.  This program is in conjuntion with the Elementary Faith Formation classes. 


Sacramental Preparation will occur on Wednesdays
as part of the Faith Formation classes. 

When you register for sacramental preparation your child will also be registered for faith formation classes.  

Note: If your child is in 4th grade and in their first year of faith formation or they are older than 4th grade and would like to receive these sacraments; they would participate in our RCIA Adapted for Children program. Contact Mrs. Michal Tincup ([email protected]) for more information.
